Does anyone have experience with thr Rough Country 4" N2.0 kit for TJ? I just bought it and should have it for the weekend. The price was great. I know some people are saying RC-yuck but it was all I could afford atm.

I think the N2.0 is just the new shocks, so its your basic RC 4" kit with the new shocks....
I run a second hand RC kit on the XJ, with the old style shocks, its rough but whatever, I like it.
The adjustable control arms lead much to be desired. the grease zerks are placed wierd so you'll be ripping them out with any type of wheeling.
and the flex joint in it...well....not great for a DD, I plan on going johnny joint in the future.

from what i've heard, great bang for the buck.

I put a rc lift in my last tj...it went together fine and worked well for the price I paid.  If this is your first experience in a lifted tj  you will notice quite a stiffer ride.  Great intro lift in my opinion.

i bought a used 2" lift to start then went to a 3.5" RE/JKS/Clayton setup.

research because there are a lot of "little" things that need to happen with a 4" lift.

I think thats what dips was running before the backhalf. His rig did well with just that.

Thanks for all the opinions.  They do make a LA kit that would work with the lift too, someday maybe.

I started with their 4" basic kit too. Worked well.  But needs add-ons as you go.

Matt got a good deal on this one too!  Wink

I think dips said it right,

I got it installed this weekend. I got a front adjustable trac bar so I did not have to drill the hole in the stock mount. The rear trac bar bracket was much heavier than I thought.
I really like it. It rides better than stock on the road. I have not been off road yet. The control arms are real beefy. I like the height. With the 3" body lift and 35's it sits pretty tall.

Now I need extended front brake lines and discos...  Woot!
