just the wheels, or the tires as well?

is your xj stock?  if it is, then yes you would need to do a small lift or trim it to fit those tires

no.. wheels will fit just fine.

Tire on the other hand might need some "clearencing" but that depends on you lift (if you have one)

Rubi's essentially had a 31" tire on a 16" wheel

just something else to think about, if you have 16 inch rims, tires become a decent amount more expensive than tires for 15inch rims

X2

And the RIMS (moabs) will fit fine, but the tires (31's) might be a little tight.

Very true... and I don't understand why, in the long run they are using less rubber  Roll Eyes

It's because the side walls have to be stronger to support the weight....I asked someone at some point becuase it didn't make sense to me either.

Thanks guys. I love this forum........fast answers. I am putting a 2 inch OME kit in it. I will be on the road 90% of the time. (I just have to be honest with myself.) I will look for some 15 inch wheels.
Thanks everyone.

If you want some cool 15's then look at hte DC1's.  They are like $100 each but I like the look of them.  Also, if you want to go cheap and don't care about looks, just go with AR-767 steelies or Cragar 8's.

I believe you may also need a spacer beacuse of backspacing.  But I could be wrong.
