Right now is the best time to buy a summer use trailer, most dealers want to clear the lot before snow. I got a deal on mine because of that. So are you going to back half it now while she's giving you the green light on mods? Lol

the least expensive way to go is to buy a rig that someone else built.  i don't know what you are looking for, but check out pirate4x4, neow, etc. 

what type of rig are you looking for?
