just my luck, working on putting all the wires togther and hooking everything up and the solenoid motor breaks.. i was trying to get a nut off the possitive lead on the solenoid switch and the whole thing twists and snaps off..  and now i need a new little solenoid switch. anyone happen to have a solenoid switch or whole solenoid lying around that they could either give to or sell cheap to me?

I don't recall the year of your yj  is it mounted on the starter or fender? If it's the solenoid that's separate from the starter I have one you can have although their about $10 new.

the motor is from a 94. the switch is with the starting solenoid. im not sure if it will work.

94, the solenoid would be mounted on the starter. Sorry, the only one I have is mated to a starter.

In the future, put 2 nuts at the end of the post and use them to lock the post in place while you turn off the nut that attaches the cable/wire.

im actually going to get one at autozone. but thanks for the help. and thanks for the tip too, ill use it.
