Title: cheap one ton rear axle's 10.25's Post by: jason m on September 06, 2009, 08:09:56 AM my friend sean has a some steerling 10.25's FF he trying to get rid of. there pretty much the same thing as a 14 bolt as far as strength and all are fullwidth ( 69" flavor ). the gears are probally eather 4.10's or 3.55's, the commen ford gears.
they have a 1.5" 35 spline axle's and there is some after market out there for the axle's just not as popular as a 14-b, 60 or 70. they really have more ground clearance than a 14-b and would make a cheap rear axle for some one. he asking 50.00 dollars a piece for them, if any one's intersted there located in hampden mass and you can contact me ( PM ) and i will give you his number. jason.
