Anyone know of any hard top storage areas in the Boston area?
I am a new 2013 Jeep Wranlger Rubicon owner with a dual top. I do not have a garage, basement, outdoor space to store the top; but want the top ASAP so I can enjoy the summer/fall.
I've been looking at renting a small space at a storage facility but it can be pricy. Wish I had family near by but they're all back in NY.
Any insight or suggestions are welcome.
thanks

assuming you don't have a backyard too, i think a storage unit is probably your best bet. do you have someone who would let you put it in their back yard/garage?
you could always sell it.

I sold mine because I got sick of putting it on and taking it off. Didn't notice any difference in the winter honestly and I daily drove it.

I'd say sell the hard top; JK hard tops are selling for a premium.
Search Craigslist, the sellers are asking upwards of $2000.
While I doubt they are selling for that much, the market will bear what the actual value is and the price will surely depreciate over time. BUT I bet if you ask $1500 it would be quickly sold and put a pretty penny in your pocket.
I can not speak to the durability of the JK soft top, but the first top I had on my 94 YJ lasted about 16 years till I replaced it in 2006. At which point I bought a used top in "like new shape" from a (I think) former member here for $50 (I think it was Twisty's neighbor.)
edit for spelling

New JK tops are the same if not better material that was on the late TJs and LJs. Theyre high quality sailcloth.
Sell the top and buy jeep stuff, consider it "free money"

Sell the top, come get a 2" front/1" rear lift installed and leave a few hours later with change for a lunch. Then take the left over change from that and get the kid's college fund going with a $500 bond. Then buy scratch tickets with the change left over from that.
