My brother is in the Air Force. When my brother was stationed in Qatar my parents received a call from his superior officer telling us that my brother had been in Afghanistan and had to have surgery while on duty. He told my family that he would call them back with contact and information to where he was. One day rolled by, then a second, and then a third. We are all assuming the worst at this point. My parents tried calling everyone they could but were unable to get any information. They were concerned, they didn't know what the extent of this surgery was and why he was in Afghanistan. So my parent's called Ted Kennedy's office and explained their problem. No lie, 20 minutes later my brother's superior officer called my parents and said, hold on, and then my brother was on the phone. My brother was then in Germany in a hospital. Luckily he only had appendicitis while in Afghanistan and needed emergency surgery to prevent it from bursting. Macho Man began wrestling in the WWF in 1985 and became a superstar with his trademark catchphrase "Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh." UPDATE: Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ ... Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median ... through oncoming traffic ... and "collided head-on with a tree." Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries. Savage's wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision -- but survived with "minor injuries." She was transported to a different local hospital where she was treated.
