Is Brendons jeep bigger?
-
new tires
-
nice, how was the drive home? :o
-
cold
-
sucks to see ya on your side, but for some reason I am thinking your XJ will come out even better now because of it.
On another note, it looks like you finally have a new picture for the members section ;)
-
how did you manage to flop it right there?
-
thats a very good question
the trail takes a sharp turn to the right there and drops off at the same time, it drops off by like 3 feet all the way to the right, and not at all all the way left....i stayed to far right i guess
what it really came down to was that i wasnt paying close enough attention ::)
-
you need more flex. ha-ha
-
funn!!
-
im surprised it took you so long. mine went over a couple weeks ago...sadly nobody was there to see it nor did i get any pics....and i can't even prove it cause there is no damge...damn mud
is that the last hill?? that section of trail doesn't look familiar for some reason.

yeah i figured you just werent paying attention and stayed to the right...now you have to flop it actually attempting an obstacle vs just driving downt he trail ;D

i am calling B S! if no one saw it, it never happened
-
i found attending nej events helps you remember what the trail looks like, i remember what it looks like and i dont even wheel much!
have a nice day:)!
-
if events were on a day i had off i would attend them, hence why i wheel more not with the club but with my close friends....i come to events when my jeep is drivable and im not working.
my sister who was riding shotgun obviously saw it...i went to her side.

-
Even with the carnage it was a good time, I broke my tierod end on the rustys track bar but it was under warrenty. Nice pics Ben
-
seems like there is a picture of someone lifting a tire in that same spot right by the street every trip, and then theres a picture of someone standing on the tire? wierd.
great pics looked like a good trip

there are no longer and intact pieces of glass?
fine mitch ill tell you, this crazy chick with a three pound sledge hammer decided to beat the [censored] out of the jeep while screaming crazy things and then she stomped all over the roof and hood while breaking windows, it was quite a site to see
seriously, thats what really happened
-

Good pics! Them XJ's look great!
-
Thanks Mitch ;)
-
how much did you cut off of your rear doors?
-
saw it in driving by today. Damn lucky the damage its just to the door, i wish i had that type of luck.
-
how much did you cut off of your rear doors?
I never noticed that he trimmed that far. did you weld the sheet metal back together?
-
I trimmed to 1/4" of the door, then traced that line around to the back to make it symetrical. I had to cut the wheel well in half and move it back 4". The floor had to be cut to do so. Then I welded everything back and covered it with rtv for good measure. Yesterday I sanded the Rtv off the body , painted and put a strip of Protckto Trim around the well to match the front. Here's a bit of the passenger side http://mrmontez2000.proboards70.com/index.cgi?board=create&action=display&thread=1166880000

Nice work!
-
looks good, nice little write up too!
-
yeah, i have never seen that before. nice job!
-
wow that looks like a ton of work. did you have rubbing issues up in the wheel well? my issue has only ever been with the actual fender lip.
came out nice though
-
Thanks guys. Yeah the tires were rubbing. The axle is moved 1" back and the tires are 36's, so something had to give.
