Title: cb antenna swr

so after last trail rides issues and us now actually checking rigs before events I needed to get a cb for the buggy.  well that's pretty much all said and done but was wondering if there is a way I can check my swr without a meter or at least get it into a setting where I don't have to worry about damaging my cb.  and/or does anybody have a meter I can borrow at the BBQ??

I have a meter. Actually my dad has it right now, but I'll try to get it back from him before the bbq.

I have an SWR meter too.  Tuning the antenna makes a huge difference in range capability!

Agreed.  I have always tuned my antennas I just don't have access to the meter I used to use any more.  Tim I'd say bring yours to the bbq as well just in case corey can't get his back in time.  That is if you don't mind.

I don't mind.  Hope I can figure out a cb for the MJ.   :-\
