Crown Automotive Sales Co., Inc. Warehouse Outlet Store
Our catalog is available for viewing online at www.crownautomotive.net , but keep in mind if you don't see a part, it doesn't mean we don't have it. All sales must be done over the counter in person, but please feel free to email or pm me with any questions. We also carry in the store Superwinch products, Rubicon Express, Bushwacker, Bestop, bumpers, some Tuffy security consoles, and more. Also, there will soon be a scratch and dent sale section, and we will eventually be hosting a local Jeep meet to invite local clubs and members to show off their Jeeps. Thanks and hope to meet you all soon!
-
Thank You for supporting both our club as well as our hobby at the local level! I look foward to a Jeep meet, should be a fun time!
-
Any plans to offer parking lamp S/S “trim rings” for a 68-75 CJ5 in the near future? You carry the lamp assembly (989852).
I know many that would purchase them.
Thanks for the support.
-
Thanks for the nice welcome guys! I hope this all works out for the best.
Posimoto, I'll look into it and let you know what they say...thanks!
-
Jeff is a nice guy. I've been talking with him about possibly getting a new XJ tank for the Comanche. If I hadn't located a used one close to my house, I was prepared to drive to his warehouse and buy a new one.
I'll definately keep Crown in mind when looking for stock Jeep parts.
-
His warehouse/showroom is about 15 min from me, ill be heading down to check it out. Spoke to him yesterday about O2 sensors, doesnt carry them but made some calls to try to find some for me. Great customer service in my book, will be exploring his inventory.
-
Thanks to those of you who have called and stopped by so far. Hopefully I see more of you so you can check out the store and give me some feedback.
Feel free to email me with any questions...if I don't have what you're looking for, I'll do my best to help you find it elsewhere.
We will be planning a meet sometime in June or early July in our parking lot...probably a BBQ & a raffle. I'd like it if I can get some representatives of the club/group and other groups to come and bring info on how to join...I have many customers come in that don't know of places and want to do it legally and with others with experience. I'll probably start a separate thread about this in the appropriate area when plans become more concrete. Thanks!
-
We would love to set up a tent with our banner and some info, maybe a jeep too. Thanks!
-
Be on the lookout soon for my CJ2A I just bought! Should serve as a nice advertisement in front of the store.
I've had some calls so keep 'em coming, and you can pm me here. I've been getting a lot of people restoring older CJ's lately which is great. I'm a little slow when it comes to finding their part numbers, but we surprisingly have a ton for them. Thanks guys...
COME CHECK OUT THE STORE!!! ;D

Pics of said CJ? I had a 2A for a few months, but I had to sell it :(.

I'll post some up tomorrow...going to get it tonight. It's going to need some TLC, but I look forward to it!

Deciding what to do, trying to find any serial number, (none where they're supposed to be), and making a list of what it'll need!
-
check out www.thecj2apage.com
-
Hey thanks for the link, I was using another page but that one is much better! I've already started aquiring some Crown parts for it...
If anyone needs anything else, let me know.
-
Be on the lookout soon for my CJ2A I just bought!
Looks like a 3a to me.
-
It's definately a 2a...3a's didn't have the bow brackets on the driver's side, and the length from the rear wheel well area to the rear is 34", making it definately a 2A. The windshield frame is from a 3b...no serial numbers, and TONS of stuff is all messed up but I have all the parts lined up to bring it back to close to original condition.
-
Jeff at Crown automitive is an awsome guy! They just sent us some stuff for the Access for all program! Thanks!

wicked awesome!
-
Added some new stuff like Hi-Lift jacks & more...come on by!
Also, they did a pdf update on the website www.crownautomotive.net .
-
Thanks Jeff!
-
Do you have those grill inserts in black for a TJ?
-
We carry a stainless insert that goes in the slots, but is not billet style if that's what you mean. We do have black bug screens, stone guards sets in regular or billet style (but those only do the lights). Sorry if we don't have what you want.
Please check out our website for the 2008 update if you get a chance.
-
I just got an order of some new Bestop stuff in like Trail Covers, tire covers, and more. If you want to check anything out before you buy it, my place is perfect for you!
Also, from time to time, I find NOS (new old stock) items we no longer carry, like old SmittyBilt Outland wrangler grille guards, ZJ grill guards, and more. Come by and see them...and please pass the word along about the store!

Just fyi, I will be on vacation out of the country for a week or so starting Wednesday afternoon. If anyone needs parts, call our number, and it will be forwarded to a sales person in our Marshfield office. She can have parts shipped to you, or you can pick them up through her. Thanks and see some of you when I get back. ;D
-
Have Fun!
-
Have a safe trip. Enjoy!
-
I only saw 4 Jeeps in Ireland! Thanks for the well wishes, and thanks to those of you who called and placed orders while I was away.
Now that I'm back, I hope to plan the meet here sometime soon. I'll definately make a thread on it and give everyone notice.
-
I'm headed to Ireland the first week in Sept. Where'd you go?

Dublin, Dundalk, Athlone, & Galway...I hope you're saving a lot, because the Euro conversion is brutal! Which reminds me, I have to go to the bank to exchange some back to US.
-
Just so everyone knows...we do carry SYE kits, and supply them to many online vendors which rebadge the name.
There are instructions posted on our homepage at the bottum, and if you look in the .pdf update, there should be a picture of it as well.
http://crownautomotive.net/
If anyone is interested, I will offer $10 off to NEJ members. Come by and see it in person before you order another one online. Fits NP231 T-cases... PM me for pricing since I can't list them online.
Will also offer special discount on fender flare kits as well!
-
went and saw him yesterday in person. Great guy has a lot to offer for parts and hopes to get more for the jeep community. Great prices and no shipping fees which wins in my book anyday. Help out a local shop, and go see him before you order online.
-
Nice to meet you as well, thanks for coming by!
Definately keep me in mind if you're considering those oversized flares.
-
(http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/85/Irish_Pub_Lodz.jpg/800px-Irish_Pub_Lodz.jpg)
I plan on visiting alot of Irish Pubs too !
Tentatively I'm going to Dublin, Cork, Kerry, and Gallway.
-
Hope to see some of you guys at the Fall Crawl!! ;D
-
Leaving in a few hours ;D
-
Saw your rig but didn't get a chance to stick around to say hi. Looked good!
-
I kept an eye out for you at the raffle, but I didn't see you.
Another time perhaps. :)
-
I wish we had met, I didn't even know you there. We should introduce venders, so we know who is who.
-
Yeah same here...I was around under the main tent for the raffle, got soaked and stayed that way until I got home at midnight...but it was worth it!
I was talking to my friends about how we should have had vendor name tags or something other than asking people who works for what. Maybe next year we can figure something out...additionally, it would be worth while to set up some kind of members list so you can see who is going with what. While I was there, there were many rigs I would have loved to look at, and wished I knew what else was around as there were too many to see. Would be nice to be prepared so you can meet up and ask people some stuff if you're looking to do a similar build.
-
I think we sat at the table next to you the next morning, you wearing a crown hat?
-
I was only there Saturday from 8am until 9pm, and wearing a black Crown hat. I left a stack of tan Crown hats during the raffle and they were all snatched up, probably to keep the rain off most people's heads.
-
Jeff, thanks again for the parts a few weeks ago. I saw you Sat morning and waved, pretty sure you didn't recognize me.
-
I think I remember what you're talking about. It was early on, and just after we got there...took me a second to realize you were waving to me and who you were, sorry about that! There were many faces I recognized, but didn't know how I knew them.
I gave out a few of our catalogs in the tent as well, but forgot to include my business card directing people to go to the Canton store! Hopefully the word spreads that I'm here.
-
Jeff, we need the hood opener that the cable attaches to for the Access for all xj. Is that something you can get?
-
Got any "Crown" Decals. I would be more than happy to sport one on my Rig.
-
Are you referring to the "hood safety latch hook" or the "hood latch striker"? http://www.crownautomotive.net/catalog/body/XJ.html
If it's p/n 55009998AE, then definately. If it's 55009999AB then we are out of stock.
Right now we have stickers and you certainly can have one...I'm trying to get windshield and general decals made in the near future that are a little more modern and fun.

Contact J at wicked sticky. he's also a vendor here and does AMAZING work.
-
The latch that is on the hood. I would take a pic, but it is in NH.
-
If it is item # 9, we are presently out of stock for an undetermined amount of time. I'll look into if there is a sample floating around, and if there is, we'd be more than happy to donate it. However, it appears we have been out for a while sorry to say.
Tooch, I have heard about them/seen their work, and it looks great. I'll have to look into using them, thanks.
Also, I'll be starting a new thread soon based on some clearance items I'm trying to move from the store. We have a big list of NOS (new old stock) Tuffy consoles that we need to move along to make some space. Also some various old Smittybilt stuff...so be on the look out for that thread! thanks
-
it isn't 8 or 9. Anyone have an xj that can get a pic of the part the cable actuates on the hood?

-
That would be cool Tim!
-
Just so he knows it, I'm not trying to steal Jeff's sale. I just offered mine up in case he doesn't have one. :)

Hopefully next run I will be there!!
-
You are welcome to ride along on a trail if you like? will you be at the fall crawl?
-
Thanks! I'm not sure what I'm doing on that yet. I was planning on signing up for the trail 1 or 2 as they're open and easiest...but I'd consider riding along!
Will definitely keep that in mind and let you know soon. Thanks!!
-
Bob is the right guy to ride shotgun with, he is safe and his rig can do it all most of the time.
-
:D my wife is usually with me, but someone always has a seat. so she could ride with them. :D
-
Jeff came through with the body mounts for my jeep so I could get that sucker dropped on. He always takes care of us club members.
-
Looking for rockers for a 97 4 door cherokee. Thanks.
-
Casey L, sorry to say I don't believe we carry those any more. We did at one point, but they seem to have stopped buying/selling them a few years back. If I come across a set while out back, I'll let you know...but for now, sorry to say I can't help.
If any of you need anything else, PM's are your best bet for a prompt response.
Thanks again guys...hope to stick around & be able to help you out for a while...and thanks for the business!

So I forgot to call Jeff up monday to order my lifter greasable heavy duty boomerang shackles. Needless to say I called him Tuesday afternoon and we ordered them up. No lie I got them Wed morning at like 10 am. I couldnt have gotten them any faster if I drove in to Canton and grabbed them myself.
And much to my surprise they came with all the new spring and perch bushings and sleeves.
anyone need these and trust me it is 100% impossible to find a better deal and service!!! I stake my life on it!
