I was thinking of tube end seals for my Dana 44..whenever I tear it down the tubes are full of an oil/dirt/water slurry.

Hoping to get some time soon to finish up the wiring...
Made up a little relay panel at work.

To do:
Headlights
Tail lights
Rock lights
Seat heaters
Stereo/speakers
Cab winch controls
Horn
Ughhh, I'm sure I'm forgetting something

Ditched my fancy Derale PWM fan controller to make room for relay panel. I wanted to keep everything in the cab out of harms way...Wired up the fans today. Fan 1 comes on with ignition, fan 2 is on a switch. I figure KISS is prob the way to go. These new fans move some serious air, it's loud with 1 on and almost ridiculous with both on.

Roughed in some of the other relays too.

Matt, what amp alternator are running?
I have a Volvo 2 speed fan controller if needed, just saying.

Alt is stock ( I think). Hopefully, I'll rarely have both fans on for long periods. We'll see how it works and get a bigger alternator if needed...

Started on the rock sliders today.

Got the supports notched. Found that doing the miter cuts to meet the boatsides is awful with a Sawzall or cutoff wheel. Went to HF and picked up a Portaban to speed things up. Hoping to have them done for the BBQ, we'll see...

looking good.

if you use emory cloth or something like that and clean up the tube before you run it through the bender, your die will last longer.

Good advice! I made sure the pieces that went in the bender were rust free. The other pic is of supports I made out of .120 wall scrap that was kicking around...

Also lube up the tube and die. Any full shot of them on the rig

I sprayed the follower with PBblaster even though JD2 doesn't recommend lube with their benders...
No pics as I only got one side rough fitted and the supports notched. Hopefully the portaband will speed up the cuts.
