if you look in one of the photo's of the front end when I put it in, the drivers side U-bolts are not attached, thats because the company I ordered them from sent me the wrong ones (as in I got someone elses order) When I opened the box, there were three u-bolts in there, two that looked right and one that looked like it was for a trailer. didn't think twice about it, when I went to put the axle in on saturday, thats when I realized I had the wrong U-bolts, got in touch with the company, they would nottake them as returns because it had been over 30 day (I ordered them 32 days ago) so I opened the phone book, found Palmer Spring. I called them on my way home today and explained my situation followed by the question, what time do you close. he answered 5:00, I looked at the clock in my truck, it was 4:45 and I was at best 1/2 hour away.
The gentlman said he would be happy to wait for me to get there, I got there around 5:15, I gave him the measurments, he took me into the shop, bent me up exactly what I needed, even let me operate the machine (some cool hydraulic press with two adjustable arms and hundreds of Dies to make just about any size. Had me out ofthere in about ten minutes, and charged me $12. I offered to give him $10 extra and he refused.
