from Jonfund;

We’re going wheeling for Toys, want to join us?

JonFund announces its 5th annual Toy Drive Run to take place Saturday, December 1st at our own private property, BrookRidge, to benefit the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Connecticut Children's Medical Center is dedicated to improving the physical and emotional health of children through family-centered care, research, education and advocacy. They embrace discovery, teamwork, integrity and excellence in all that they do.

This run is open to both members and non-members who can expect a challenging trail ride on unimproved terrain while enjoying their day with the donation of a new unwrapped toy to warm the heart of a child who is undergoing medical treatment during the holiday season.

All participants will be required to sign a waiver and non-members will be required to complete a guest member application and provide proof of registration and auto liability coverage in the state where their vehicle is registered. The normal guest member fee is waived for non-members who donate a toy.

it is okay to share this announcement with non-members.

Run Details:

When: Saturday Dec 1st, 10:00 am

Where: Jonfund's own Private property in Mass. details will be in the final announcement.

Trail Description: This property is Jonfund's very own property. There is enough here to entertain everyone. Come out and enjoy what this club has worked so hard to obtain, and enjoy it!

Trail Rating: Stock to Huh. At this point the property can support anything from stock to modified. Trails still need development, and as time goes on, the property can only get better!

RSVP Close Out: Thursday, Nov 29th. There is a 30 limit for this run, with a 33" minimum tire size and locker or winch recommended. We can accommodate up to 8 trailers so please let me know if you are bringing a trailer.

RSVP To: [email protected] . Please include the run name, Toy Drive, in the subject line. Also, please include your full name and cell phone number so that the volunteers in charge of the run can get a hold of you if you if there is a problem.

Final Announcement: Directions and other detailed information will be sent out on Thursday, November 30th after 9:00 pm.

33s and a locker recommended - There is little there for "stock" vehicles, except maybe rubicons.

I'm not going but I have attended several trail rides at the property in the past. For a trailered rig you will be expected to show proof of registration and insurance on the tow rig.

Great time with the JonFund crew.  The property they own is very nice and has some fun obstacles and it is obvious they are still working/exploring it.  I think we had nine rigs to start, lost 1 within minutes to a rock can-openering a front d/s and a second broke steering box on last obstacle of day. A good amount of toys and a little money was donated to a great cause.

Thanks to the JonFund crew for opening up the run, i had a blast and it was nice meeting you all.

I will be getting pics emailed to me eventually and ill post them up.

And oh yea....another guy slid his rig off his trailer trying to jockey it into position.....icey deck conditions are being cited as ONLY reason.

It was great wheeling with you, Drew.  I HEART your 14 bolt - sweetness.
