"tire out of round"
«
on:
October 12, 2012, 03:43:40 PM »
So i've been trying to get my jeep to the point where i want it. Got the lift on and the tires this past weekend.
But, one or more of the 33" tires are "out of round"
I thought it was a balancing issue but apparently not according to sears auto.
Is there anything to do? i dont have the money for a new tire (tires if more than one is out of wack)
I read about truing the tire, but seems like its an old outdated procedure, or only racers do it now.
Any help would be appreciated.

yea i can feel it. I think im going to try airing down the tire. I took a closer look at it and it looks like there is a flat spot that was caused from the jeep sitting in one position. or, just look for a new set of used 33's

We only shave bearded women after October 1st, but...
If you brought it here, loose, I'd spin it and take a look for you for nothing.
