Sorry- I'm trying to get the pictures bigger.  I will do my best to post some tonight.
Been busy with my 6 month old and haven't had time to update the progress.  I commend those of you who document so well- I have enjoyed all of the build threads on here.  Sorry if mine sucks.

A few pictures of the day the body and frame went back together.

Had to cut most of the transmission cover to fit the t-18.
Built a new transmission cover and drilled and tapped an appropriate shift knob.
Added the proper military bumpers and pintle hitch
Modified some Crown TJ rocker guards to fit.

Had an old half cab laying around so I put it on to see if it would fit...
I have always loved CJ5s with half cabs but it will be getting a full cage and a back seat...any ideas on how to make it work and be safe?

Caught up to real time...this past weekend finished up the wiring and lights, dropped in a DUI distributer,  and bolted in a roll cage.

Had a chance to do a shake down ride with some friends on private land in NH.

Jeep ran great- tera low- low range and the granny gear of the t-18 combined with the 5.38s made it more of a tractor than a Jeep.  Idled over everything in 1st and 2nd gear.

Really happy with how it turned out I have some winter plans for it but it was nice to get it out and muddy.

Is the roll bar set to the rear enough to install the half cab? There is several options for mounting a cage for half cabs.

Thanks Guys- I hope to get it out with you all this spring. 

Posi- We set the roll bar 6 inches back from the front of the inner wheel well because that is where the Renegade II's roll bar was mounted- could easily move it back.  If I decide to go the half cab route I think I will try to have a cage made to fit inside- if space allows.

There is enough room in the half cab for a cage.
