2006 TJ 4cyl ****winter project****

Seeing if there is anyone interested in this before it gets sold to a buddy to be parted out
Here's what I know. 
Needs a motor..replaced or swapped

2006
4cyl w 6spd
245k miles
Solid frame
Rust on body but no rot
373 factory gears
Interior clean but missing some small pieces on dash
I can text or email pics if you want
I will have the clean title by end of week..have prev reg and bill of sale now.

Does run and yard drive but as stated the motor is bad.  Knocks and drops oil.  Planned to do a 4.0l swap but wont have room this winter as expected.  Prices for 06 tjs w a 4.0l are insane...get there on a budget this way and keep or sell on for most certainly a profit. 

I need $2700 to make it worthwhile.

Ehh....4cyl is a dog...plus I dont know the extent of the issue.

Certainly an option but with all the 4.0l tj engines and part outs in the market...seems like a smarter play imo
