How much for the input shaft.

30.00 bucks and its yours. thats what i paid for it last year or maybe it was two years ago. any ways it has a good input bearing and is 23 spline.
jason.

Are you kidding?!  I got me a 205 for $25!!!

Grin
I found a couple Dodge 203s in the next town over on CraigsList.  Let me hear back from them first on prices.  If they want ridiculous amounts, I'll probably take the input shaft.

you can beat me up on the price Grin. tell you what get me a 12 pack of heini's and i will call it even. i really dont have a use for just want to cover my end.

I didn't mean for it to sound the way it did.  I was being sarcastic.

Anyhoo, I'll be in touch about the input shaft Smiley.

Thanks!

How much would you pay for a 1977 Dodge NP203?  Its in the next town over and he said that he got $150 for one, but to make him an offer.  I'm thinking $100 or $75?

ya i wouldn't pay more than 100.00 for it but it depends on how much you need it. one good thing about dodge is there kinda the black sheap of the big three ( chevy, ford then dodge ) so alot parts eather go to mopar guys or the junkyard. so if you can score the 203 for under a 100 then i say your doing good.

The guy said $100.  I told him I'll take it.  $125 total for a 203/205 isn't a bad deal, IMHO. Grin

well then another 600.00 or so for a dubler kit but you will be under a 1K for a 4 to 1 that can handle bigblock power.

I have not been able to locate one.  At least not on the Advance Adapters site.  Thats why I'm hunting for a Dodge NP203.  They almost bolt up to the 23 spline Jeep trannys...they just need the holes re-drilled, and a small spacer.

the ford has the standard 6 bolt round pattern as a dodge/dana 300. i cant say bolt for bolt it will line up but the round index is the same. so if you take a 23 spline dodge 205 input gear and install it into a ford then you will have a way to combine the two spline wise, make sence.

now you might have to redrill a new pattern of holes or you might get lucky and some line up. i have a old T-5 adapter that has the standard 6 bolt jeep pattern so if you have a ford 205 mike we can fart around with the T-5 adapter and see what fits and what doesn't.
i will search around pirate and see what works.

Most are supplied with a 23 spline male input shaft and used with a coupler.

This site says that all Dodge NP205s were male input...not sure if you could find a female 23 spline input for the 205?
