« on: March 09, 2007, 05:10:28 PM »
I am filling my trans and tc and can't fit the gear oil bottle. I rigged an oil I-V but it is really slow. Is there a small pump i coud get to make my life easier?

yeah, there are little hand pumps.  like a giant bathroom soap pump bottle.  they come with a tube to run from the spout to the fill hole. they are about $6 i think.

i know they sell kits for putting oil into the lower unit of an outboard, and thats what i have. it happens to fit gear oil bottles as well. you can check a boat US or west marine

I'm With him...

I got a cheap transfer pump (ment for gas) from West Mariner. It will pump the ATF and gear oil, just a little slow, it was not designed for the viscosity.
