if that was sittin gonmy bench like that i would prop itup in a drill press or bridgeport and throw a carbide bit at it. you could prob pay a local machine shop to do that foryou for short money(short meaning cheaper than the time to take the tailhousing out order a new one and replace it.
and in the future throw all of your spiral easy outs away. and from the looks of your picture you had roomto drill alot bigger. i usually drill as large as i can until i just  see the threads inside my drill hole

honestly I probably would have drilles bigger but the next size up easy out I sapped of in my dads engingine block last year.   Woot!
