It’s a wonder the L-head was still running as well as it did with the down pipe crushed (happened at the B-Y). Ordered a new pipe and gasket from Jeff @ crown (thanks).
The down pipe is mounted just need to connect the rest of the exhaust then it’s up for sale. I had my fun with it and now have a Commando to tinker with everything I’ve done to it is in this thread I’ll only add that’s its locked front and rear, front disc brakes, and new starter. I’ll have it on CL in a few days but it would be nice to keep it in the family.
As other member here can attest it’s a fun Jeep to wheel and is very capable. If someone is truly interested your welcome to PM.
