Last night, Deval Patrick posted a proposed piece of legislation which further restricts Massachusetts gun owners.

The most startling requirement is that ALL magazines which hold more than 10 rounds be destroyed or sold out of state, and NO new magazines with a capacity greater than 7 rounds be purchased/sold in Massachusetts.  10 round mags will be grandfathered, but can ONLY be loaded with 7 rounds.  There are other bits, but this is the most striking.

Please write your state senators/representatives to let them know how you feel about this issue!
Us this to find your elected officials. http://www.malegislature.gov/

Another possible infringement on our rights!

Anyone can go here to submit a letter to all of your elected officials (federal, and state) to tell them "no new gun laws!"

Thanks!

Good luck with that

Love the thought process that limiting magazine size will help curb violence. Do these dumba$$ politicians ever actually think before they speak?

How about we address the the real issue of mental illness! No can't do that, it would require work and actually thinking about things

I have no issue with closing the show loopholes or background checks, but limiting capacity does nothing to address the issue. The people that you do not want having large capacity clips will still have high capacity clips.  The government has made several drugs illegal, doesn't seam to stop the people that want them the most.

I'm with Todd on this one 100%
Until you free society from retards and deter the media from making them out to be gods then we might as well talk some more Censored about taking more freedom away from us.

How about allowing us to defend our schools and homes from them.
Allow our children and family's to "know the are safe" rather than hope we are
