Hi,

New to Jeepin' here.  Recently picked up an '01 TJ Sport with 4" lift, SYE/CV, 33s, Banks respiration.  So far, haven't had a chance to do any off-roading, but I can see how it's $$-blackhole.  Don't even need it, but want it =D.  Kinda getting a little off-topic, but can anyone recommend a good 4wd shop in the waltham area?  Would rather not travel an hour to go to Bay State Offroad.  Anything in Worcester?

No pics yet.  I always forget to break out the camera.

As far as mods go, I don't have the tools or space yet, but as far as heavy work, I'd like upgrade my gears next, but I figure I might as well do the axles while I'm at it and then why not the lockers, brakes, oba, and steering, and hell throw some armor on.  On top of that I need to save some $ for a house I think I might just wait until I break stuff to replace it, since it's not my dd.  Btw, I thought I'd see A LOT more jeep heaps in salvage yards. What gives lol?  Oh and I'm new to Jeeps, but not off-roading. . . Never owned a car car.  Previous vehicles were an 01 Vehicross (VX) and 96 Bronco.  The Bronco = fun in KY mud as long as you remember to lock the hubs beforehand =P

Funny thing.  The guy I bought my TJ from had his work done there (Endangered Species).  Thought about them, but they're in Northampton, which is like 2 hours away from me.  But thanks for the suggestion.  I'll check out the sponsors and keep hunting.

That's tempting.  I have no idea the time or cost to get that swapped though.  My only reservations are swapping a D30 for another D30 and I was planning on 4.56 gearing.  Stop tempting me lol.

they will bolt right in!

just start taking off all the bolts under your jeep until the axle falls out, then put the new one in!

Santos welded my old CJ frame up a while back and did great work.  Go visit him and Stumpy if you want Worcester.  I would definitely make the trip to Baystate if it were me and I have an old CJ that isn't at all highway friendly
