It's official the 2011 Spring poker run is on!!!!

When: June 11, 2011 Registrations start at 9:30. Groups of 5 or 6 will be leaving in 20 min intervals starting at 10:00 AM


Where: Deering Fish & Game 50 Fish & Game RD Deering NH

What: Our poker run is a trail ride through some scenic Class VI roads with check points along the route where you will draw a playing card. The best poker hand wins half the surplus money from the days take. Score cards are $20 and any one (passengers) in the vehicle can purchase as many as they like.

We will also be grilling burger and dogs after the ride though you may want to pack some snacks or a light lunch for along the way.

Who: Anyone who meets the vehicle requirements. Vehicles should be legally registered and insured and have a min 31" aggressive tread tire and front and rear recovery points.

is this really a public event or only open to members/ potential members of NEA affiliated clubs?


either way, i had a real good time when i went a couple years ago. i'm gonna try to make this one.

Mitch, its the weekend of our overnighter at gretchens..come wheel with us, or camp with us and do the poker run..

not sure I am gonna drive the cj this far.  Last time I took it that far away from home it just about fell apart  Woot!
Nah....if I can get the axle I am picking up from Rich sunday all welded up with some new ballistic spring perches and pack my locker and one piece axles in it I will join in on this run.
Isn't this the run that dude broke his ankle on in that video shot last fall?

a guy in my group broke his ankle at the end of the year in last falls poker run. Fallen leaves had covered the trail hiding some rocks and the ground was wet = slippery... Me and another guy carried this giant to another jeep which got him out of there.
