Hey Guys…I will be joining NE Jeepz at your next outing and hopefully become a member after that.  I’m looking for advice/experience on suspension lifts for my 2011 Unlimited.  I want to install a 3” +- suspension lift but not sure which manufacturer to go with.  Any suggestions on which to use or which to stay away from would be appreciated…Thanks…Keith

The 3" TeraFlex lift is hard to beat.  They ride better than stock and perform very well offroad. Couple that with a set of Bilstein shocks and you will love it.   The standard kit reuses your control arms or you can upgrade to the system with flex arms.  Anything above 3" will require a new front drive shaft and in some cases the front shaft will contact the exhaust when the sway bar is diconnected with the 3" lift.  DON'T BUY Rough country, Trail master, rancho, sky jacker, super lift, Pro comp, Rusty's and the such.  These are poor examples of lift kits.  You will have problems with the install and the life of the components.  The money you save on the purchase will be spent chasing gremlins and replacing broken and worn out parts.  Other companies to look at are T&T customs, Synergy, Metalcloak, Rubicon express, BDS.  I'm sure I'm forgetting some but these are great compaines that make the best quality suspension parts.  Also Elias 4wd can beat any online prices for any of these lift kits.

And Clayton JK Long Arms.

It is very hard to beat Teraflex quality and it doesn't take a whole lot of lift for 35s or even 37s.

I have Old Man Emu (ARB) on my 1991 wrangler. Very good quality and I recommend it to anyone with a leaf sprung Wrangler. As far as non YJ Jeeps, I wouldn't hesitate to use their springs and shocks for anything else.
