Tire pressure question
« on: April 01, 2015, 09:02:57 AM »
I'm heading out to CO again this summer and was planning to trailer my Jeep out this time. I wondering about the air pressure in my tires and the thin air at the higher altitudes of CO. Should I fully deflate my tires of the heavier east coast air while I'm out there and refill them with the thinner CO air for the correct air pressure?

Once you get out there, the lighter CO air should help improve your fuel mileage.  Less rolling mass, you know.  I would do it.

Obviously!     Though on a less April fools note I wonder how much the pressure changes with altitude.    I Should have checked mine earlier when I was at the top
