They look great, better color matched IMO.

when I first saw the pics i didn't realize it was yours with those tiny arse street legal tires and the flares.  Then I though for a progressive build he looks to be going backwards.  Funny how tires make it look right though huh?

After beating on my Jeep and previous damage because of the unibody I am thinking about getting frame stiffeners.  I think this would be a good mod now before I beat/bend/twist and wheel my Jeep too much. Plus in the future depending on what I want to do it would be a good base to build off of.

I did some research and found this one. It appears to be the most complete one, other's I'd have to buy the front and then the rails separately. I had never heard of Roc Dog so I was wondering if anyone here had. Or if there were any other suggestions. I've already looked at TnT, Currie, T and J kits as well...

I put these on my MJ.  Not worth the cost for an MJ...but they're great for an XJ.

And I used these.

I'd get the 3/16" steel...not the 1/8.

I like the ruffstuff. I like how it's a channel. Better to bolt skids onto.

Thanks for the info!!

So today I installed the ZJ V8 Tierod.  It definitely feels beefier than the stock XJ one. I removed the sway bar since I haven't had it connected in about 6 months.

And from the pictures, yes my front diff is leaking fluid. Anyone know a good place where I can get D30 Diff Bolts?

Before

Comparison

Yes I painted them red

Installed. Afterwards I installed the cotter pins and visual aligned the wheels.

I over the last few days I sanded down my bumper and sliders and painted them dark gray. And FINALLY painted my silver flares red. I was sick of looking at those silver flares, didn't quite look right.

How did I miss this????? I'm a little slow Dan. If you want to clean up the door connectors I can help you. Delphi makes the weather pack connectors that are normally in vehicles and that's what I would use. I have some crappy molex connectors because I am to lazy to change them out on my doors (I put power windows and locks in my TJ). I have one to disconnect my bumper wiring. I'll snap a pic.

This place sells them but I can get them cheaper some where else but need to order them piece by piece.

Just let me know how many wires go into each door and I can order the connectors for you. I need to order a 4 wire connector for my lights that was crushed when my bumper folded in anyway. They are clean and neat. There is a clip to mount the connector that stays in the Jeep so it doesn't hang down when not connected. It also makes it easy to plug the door side connector back in. I also have some braided sleeving  you can have to make the wires more presentable.

might be $10 to $20 bucks a connector depending on how many wires there are.

Damn, This would have been nice to have a while back. Oh well, I'll take you up on your offer of some of that braided sleeving tho. All the functions of the doors work, but once they stop I'll take you up on some better connectors.  Thanks for the info, it would've been better than my method!
