ALL inventory is heavily discounted.  Appliances, hardware, power tools, pressure washers, garden tractors, etc.  Most stuff is 20%-30% off.  Some stuff is 40%-50% off.

I got:

3/4 drive set
flare nut wrenches
compression tester
misc. sockets and screw drivers

For 30% off.

And:

die grinder and abrasives
air ratchet
50' rubber air hose

For 40% off.




I might go back for more things once I replenish some money.

I went there today and bought some drawer organizers.

I have a broken 1/2" socket.  It is a 1/2" drive 6 point model.

The Sears in Nashua said that they NO longer produce this socket, and that I was out of luck.  The guy at the counter was nice and he called numerous places to try to find one.  "Blame Obama for selling us out to the Chinese!!" he said in the store.  He called Craftsman directly and they said "not available."

My 2 options were to take the socket to a different store in Salem NH or Manchester NH, or receive a store credit.  Both are too far to travel to get a $5 socket.


I left with the socket and a slip saying that I am entitled to a refund.  I might try to weld the socket back together.

At least I was able to swap out a broken impact swivel and some broken screw drivers for USA goods.

Have them break open a new 10 piece set of 6 point sockets and give you the one you need. Plus side, they will have 9 sockets on hand for other customers in need for exchange. They had done this for me in the past.
