Hi NEJ,

My name is Elyson and I have recently bought my second Jeep. My first was a '93 ZJ which I did some moddest tweaks as it was a daily driver ( Also right out of high school when I got it).

Fast forward more than a decade and my passion for motorsports has grown. I recently acquired a 2001 WJ Laredo bone stock, in the two months I've owned it, I did a bit of work.

So far I have a 3" Inch IRO Lift with an adjustable trackbar, Moog HD Trail boss, Bilstein 5125 dampers, RC .75 leveling kit, 1.5" hubcetric spacers and JK Moabs with OEM 255/75 17 GY SR-A tires. Been looking at the new KO2's since I had great luck with the previous A/T KO. Duratracs are also in the running.

I got the Jeep mainly as a winter beater since I have been pouring time and money into a weekend track day car for local track use (Thompson Speedway, etc.) but as soon as I got the Jeep the Mod-bug bit me.

So here I find myself wanting to meet local Jeepers for a trail ride every so often. Preferebly some family friendly atmosphere that my wife and daughter can enjoy.

I live on the outskirts of Worcester, on the Shrewsbury/Grafton line.

I would love to learn about some local trails and join a reputable/respectable club and even support the cause to keep trails open to those resposible users.

Great attitude!  The wheeling season is pretty much over for a few months, but will resume again in March-May.  There will be plenty of opportunities to get out into the woods.  99% of the events that we have are family friendly. 

I also picked up a WJ for the winter.  Threw a 2" BB and some 245/75-16s under it.

I still need a few more things to complete my rig before I send in my application. I need the Front/Rear recovery points, CB, tow strap and a fire extinguisher. Then I will be able to chill 

Does a D-ring hitch receiver work as the rear recovery point ( I ask because of the NO HITCH BALLS).

Thanks again for all the information and links; from what I've read, many members of this club are nearby and this sounds like a great one to join.

hello fellow jeepsterz, I just joined. Forgive me but I am new to forums in general so this is the beginning of what i hope will be a short learning curve,haha.My 2002 laredo(wj) is my first jeep. I've had it now for 2 years. replaced lots of things(will list later).Currently I would like to find some take off 17 inch rims and would like to know about doing so. There are many on craigslist. What's needed to make this happen?....; BB,shocks(mine are spent anyway),wheel spacers.. I have replaced much of the front end suspension minus the shocks. thanks salaredo

Hey Guys (and Gals), my name is Nick from Easton, MA, I am new to this forum, just wanted to say hello. I currently own a TJ (97) and I am dropping a 6" RC lift. I had a 95 XJ with a 4.5 inch on 32's, but this is my first wrangler. I'm a "jack of all trades, master of none", but I have common sense, which is more than I can say for most. Thanks for your time and I look forward to finding some local and knowledgeable people for wheeling as well as information.

welcome to the board.  are you dropping it down from 6" or putting in a 6" lift...cause if you are putting it in, what size tires are you planning on running cause even on 37's that's too much lift.
