I found a guy who is basically giving me a 3" budget coil lift that came off a 97 Cherokee.
I have heard many go with a 2" boost bust 3"?  Is that way to high.....even with extended shocks and pitman arm?

The only reason I ask is that we are at the point (w/ both axles out) where it would make sense before putting springs back into it to put the spacers in now and we have them available.  He will mainly be driving this on road with slight light class 6 wheeling until he gets a better lift and 33's so will this be ok to do?

Of course there is the pros and cons but effectively will this work ok for him.
Eventually we will body lift it 1" and go with a 3 1/2" lift or better but for now I am talking.

Cherokees have leaf springs rear... so only the front will work.

The word "Budget" is not equated with being soley a spacer.. They also make spring lifts that are called Budget lifts. We installed a 2.5" BDS budget spring lift into Brian TJ years back.

2.5" of lift is kinda the max for the stock control arms still being useable.

i ran 3.5" RE springs on my front with stock control arms and they became junk really really quick.  the bushing just can't handle it.

are these springs meant to lift a grand cherokee or are they stock gc springs that will "Lift your TJ"?  if they are stock grand cherokee springs dont waste your time or $, I had v8 grand cherokee up country springs in my TJ, they gave me maybe an inch of lift if any at all.  you would be better off spending the money on a set of 2" spacers and shocks, add in the 1.25" jks body lift put some 33s on it and wheel all day.

thats corret danny , i run 3" zj springs they gave me 4.5 " of lift, which was not enough lift, hence the big fawkin spacer up front.
but they are heavier and offer more stability which comes in handy when your running without any swaybars.
