As everyone probably knows I have been wheeling my cj-7 for 10 years. (dana30/amc20) The jeep has been very good to me but, was starting to get to the point where it needed upgrades. so I weighed my options;
1. re-build it, witch could take a year or more and a lot of $
2. Build a completely new cj, witch could take years and a lot of $
3. Buy an already built cj, for a lot less money than the build cost, and keep wheeling.
I choose option 3. Or really, just stumbled across a nice cj-7 that really fit my needs and wants. Arizona rust free body and frame, not one tons and 40"s, still street drivable.(specs to follow)
My plan was to keep it secret till the meeting, and park it out front of the restaurant. But it was raining, and possibly snow, and I didn't want salt to get on it. so I am now letting the cat out of the bag. I now need to learn to drive again, because this cj is completely different than mine.
