Just another Worcester mall wheeler

« on: July 06, 2009, 02:45:55 PM »

Started the day trying to do somthing nice and quiet after spending the weekend driving around the Summer Nationals with open headers in my Camaro.

Figured since we have some nice weather I will try to fix a few of the rust spots starting on the lower doors and sliders. I sanded everything down and attempted to color match the white on my truck (yeah right....)

Gogt frustrated and went to auto zone and got a can of the new rust-o-leum Bed Liner. This stuff goes on so easy is rediculous. One thing led to another and this is the final product.

For reference, this is what it looked like...

Thanks,

Yeah it was just really minor rust on the gas tank door and a little on the bottom of rear doors.

I like it. My old 4runner had similar rust issues and i was going to do pretty much the same thing.

Held up really well. I dragged the drivers rear fender on a tree and it dented the panel but never touched the liner....
