ive heard a few different jk's with exhaust and in my opinion they all sound like crap. the 3.7 doesn't sound right with a performance muffler. that and were the muffler is located is asking for it to be destroyed, so i wouldn't spend the money but thats all my opinion.

i was leaning toward no, but those skulls changed my mind
If you plan on wheeling - you may do a LOT of damage to this and fast.

The skulls are a little over the top
What about the benefits to the ceramic paint coating. Any thoughts?

The first time you open the rear window or go topless with your new gibson dual exhaust you'll be sucking fumes.
I would recommend not running exhaust in the center position pointing straight back as you will have issues with back drafts.

if you think there is a remote chance that a rock could possible ever contact your exhaust.....it definitely will.

K9, do you plan on wheeling? If the answer is yes, I don't see this as a good investment. You will drag that bumper over everything, those tips will be pancakes - if they even stay on.

I have sucessfully be "talked out" of this specific exhaust. The size of those pipes were kind of bothering me anyway. And it Sounds like they could take too much of a beating on the trail -so this one is out. Sounds like there might be a couple of other options that i need to research. I think Gibson makes a non-emission approved exhaust for off road only and one that it 50 state approved. I want one that is functional and sounds good. Makes little sense to me personally to have one just for sound. I will not do it if it is strickly cosmetic.

Good call on following the advise! I can't think of one Jeep that wheels, that has not dented, or torn the exhaust off at some point in its life.
