You can't start a build thread with an already well built rig can you Cheesy

jk Mithiepoo

Did you have a tow strap already?
If not Walmarts cheap $20

Whats the plan with making it a DD with no way to connect for emmissions.
too bad it wasn't a 95 for emmissions reasons.

Tim, challenge accepted!

Thanks for the comments guys. Smiley

BigD - Joe since replaced the power wire and ECU, but hadnt taken it to inspect after. So I will be crossing my fingers that day - UNLESS someone here can PM me a guy they know that like beer/etc... Smiley

I know that it wont be too much of a build thread, but I am going to at least try and document everything I do with it. Maybe it someday it wont be a DD anymore.... think about it!

I also thought about the emissions thing, but I dont want a loud XJ, so the emissions should be a problem, if I could only figure out how to keep the tailpipe from rattling off the gas skid that would be premium (and no, I dont want to cut it off and have my child breathing all the fumes while Idling - recent horror story about that I would rather not experience first hand).

And about my avatar - I still own that dodge and can use it if I want to!  Kiss

I do think I want a new rear bumper with tire carrier though.... where is that jasonm guy at?? Grin

i just did a job for guy where he had me cut his rockers off and then i built rockrails that come straight off the frame to 2" x 6" 1/4" box where the rockers were. very cool look and strong as heck!! plus it gave a whole lot of extra space from the ground to the rockers (which weren't there anymore)

before they were finished.  the 2 x 2 box is under the 2 x 6 and there is now a piece of uhvm (cutting board white plastic stuff) plus all the open ends on box tube is capped now

that looks like a nice xj mitch, don't name your project thread! Roll Eyes

when your ready to come on down wheeling at rausch creek let me know.   Grin
